House & Waterfront-Home Movers in Fort Lauderdale

Whether it is a Las Olas waterfront estate, a tight Victoria Park staircase, or a gated Weston home, your house goes to a crew that knows those narrow stairwells and HOA requirements cold, the whole job set as one flat figure.

See the number before you sign

Tell us below what has to move, and our Fort Lauderdale team usually has one written flat figure back to you before the day is out.

Or call (888) 278-9005

Press send and what you typed drops straight onto a desk inside our Fort Lauderdale office, where your written rate gets worked up and sent back, usually landing with you before the day is out. Asking for that figure costs you nothing and ties you to nothing — take all the time you need with it, because the call to book or walk away is fully yours. The person putting your quote together is one of our own estimators and nobody else, and what you tell us goes no further than that desk.

House and waterfront-home moves

No two Broward homes behave the same, and an honest quote should say so. A Las Olas waterfront estate, a Victoria Park bungalow with a tight 1920s staircase, a Weston home behind an HOA gate, each is shaped into the flat rate around the actual house in front of us, written out before your date comes around.

Homes we handle every week

Much of the calendar is the waterfront and estate homes of Las Olas, Rio Vista, and Harbor Beach; the rest is the older Victoria Park and Sailboat Bend houses with their narrow staircases, the gated communities out in Weston and Coral Springs, and the family homes across Plantation, Davie, and Pembroke Pines.

Price by home size

That one flat rate carries the truck and fuel, the blankets, dollies, and straps, and a crew that has every piece padded before the ramp.

Home size Typical flat band
Studio / 1BR $500 to $750
Two-bedroom $1,000 to $1,600
Three-bedroom $1,900 to $2,900
Four-bedroom $3,200 to $4,600

Whatever comes apart, the dining table, the bed frames, the heavy case goods, gets broken down at the old house and put back together at the new. Floor protection runs through every room because a gouge in terrazzo or original oak does not buff out, and a grand piano goes to Victor and the specialist crew rather than the general line.

Tight stairs and HOA paperwork

A narrow Victoria Park staircase is exactly where a cut-rate crew either pads the bill or scuffs the plaster. We chart the climb first, cushion every turn and the railing, and bring the armoire or the sofa through without a mark. Out west, the gated communities want their own HOA insurance certificate on file before the gate opens.

Heat, humidity, and hurricane season

South Florida humidity is hard on wood and harder on a piano, so we wrap to keep moisture off and time the load-out around the afternoon storms. If a closing or a hurricane warning slips the schedule, we shift the window rather than rush a loaded truck through the rain.

Fort Lauderdale-rooted, family-run

Long before the company had a name, Dominic Russo was carrying pianos for a Las Olas dealer and learning every staircase in the neighborhood. That experience walks in the door with our crew, and it is the reason the figure we print and the figure you pay at the end never come apart.

Part of the job

What the crew handles

  • A figure tied to your actual access and your actual house, on paper before the date lands

  • Movers we employ W-2 who already know how the estates, bungalows, and gated homes carry

  • Wrapping on each piece, plus the blankets, dollies, and straps, none of it billed as an add-on

  • Tables, beds, and heavy case goods taken apart at the old home and rebuilt at the new

  • Floor protection through every room to guard terrazzo, original oak, and stair treads

  • The tight Victoria Park staircase mapped ahead, with no stair charge at closing

  • The HOA insurance certificate handled for the gated communities out in Weston and Coral Springs

  • Coverage spanning Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Plantation, Davie, Sunrise, Weston, and Pembroke Pines

Hourly-Rate Crews

Starting from$120/hr

Wrapped into that Fort Lauderdale hourly rate from the start: a two-mover team on a three-hour minimum, the truck pulled up at your building, and all the equipment that comes along — quilted pads, straps, ramps, dollies, and the floor runners we lay down over the tile and hardwood you find in a condo or single-story home. None of that turns up later as an extra charge, because all of it is already folded into the figure we quote you.

Tell us what you are working with. In Fort Lauderdale that could mean coaxing a baby grand out of a high-rise condo or guiding an upright down a narrow stairwell — and however the day unfolds, one W-2 crew carries it from the first box to the last while the written rate holds steady throughout.

Questions that come up a lot

Good to know before the truck rolls

Does a tight historic staircase add to the bill?
It does not. The staircase is baked into the flat rate from the quote forward, so a stair charge never shows up on the final invoice. We size the figure around that narrow Victoria Park or Sailboat Bend climb right at the start, and it holds from there. Carries through the older neighborhoods like this fill our schedule week in and week out.
Do you handle the HOA insurance certificate for a gated community?
We do. The Weston and Coral Springs gated communities want a Certificate of Insurance naming the HOA before they let a truck through the gate, and Carla pulls it and forwards it ahead of the date. Same with any waterfront association rule, so the crew is never left waiting at the entrance while the clock runs.
What about the grand piano in the house?
That is the piece we started the company on. When a home has a grand, a baby grand, an upright, or an organ, Victor Pratt and the specialist crew board it, wrap it against the humidity, and carry it through the staircase or the door themselves as part of the move. We never hand an instrument to the general line or to day-labor.
Are these your own people?
Every one of them. Each mover walking into your home is carried on the Piano Movers Fort Lauderdale books as a W-2 employee, with nothing handed to day-labor or subcontracted. Having led these crews for a decade, Andre Beaumont makes sure the people in your house know exactly what a Broward waterfront move takes.
